4 Things Organized People Do on Sundays
Ugh, Monday morning! Typically, it is the least liked morning of the week. If there was a way to make Mondays (and the rest of the week) a little less stressful, wouldn’t you want to do it? There are 4 things organized people do on Sundays for less stress. It just takes a little planning and forethought. You got this!
These are 4 things organized people do on Sundays:
1. Plan your meals for the week-
Before going to the store on the weekend take time to plan the meals for the week. The little bit of time it takes to review some recipes, make a list, and figure out how to stretch the grocery budget is well worth it! Oh yes, and did I mention that a rotisserie chicken can be your best friend?
2. Tidy Up! –
Sunday afternoon or evening is a good time to get your home back in order and start the week off on a good note. Getting up Monday is a lot easier when you have a home that you are happy to see rather than a big mess that you look at and think, “how in the world am I ever going to have time clean this up”. Besides, it is then much quicker and easier to get out the door when everything is in its place and you know exactly where to find the things you need.
3. Plan your weekly outfits –
It is so nice to go to the closet and take out exactly what you have planned to wear for that day. I must admit I am guilty of not having my outfits planned and then try on a dozen things, piling them on the chair in a frantic haste because I am running late! With a little planning, you can keep your blood pressure down and not have a mess to hang up later.
4. Look over your calendar –
Looking at your calendar on Sunday allows time for you to prepare for what is to come that week. Perhaps you forgot that you have a presentation coming up that will take some time to research, or you need to make arrangements to have your child picked up from practice because you have an evening meeting. Last minute planning is not fun!
If you do these 4 things organized people do on Sundays you will feel better about Monday. It is just a matter of getting in a routine, setting aside a little time, and doing it.
